❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions

Where is my BMI data saved?
Nowhere. This tool is 100% front-end. Your height, weight, and age are only processed in your browser and never sent to any server. Refreshing the page resets everything.
Does the tax calculator use official tax rates?
No. This calculator uses the custom tax rate you enter yourself. For accurate FBR tax slabs, you should consult the FBR website or a Chartered Accountant. This is an estimation tool only.
How does the Loan EMI calculation work?
We use the standard EMI formula: EMI = P × r × (1+r)^n / ((1+r)^n – 1), where P = principal, r = periodic interest rate, and n = total periods. This is a globally accepted formula used by banks.
Can I calculate both discounts and student marks in the percentage tool?
Yes! The percentage section has three separate tools: Tool A for discounts, Tool B for marks/comparison, and Tool C for increase/decrease. Each has its own Calculate button.
Does this work on mobile phones?
Absolutely! The entire website is built with a mobile-first responsive design. All calculators, the BMI meter, and charts display perfectly on any screen size.
What is the healthy BMI range for adults?
According to WHO: Below 18.5 = Underweight, 18.5–24.9 = Normal (healthy), 25–29.9 = Overweight, 30 or above = Obese. For children, different percentile charts apply based on age and gender.
